Anchors Do Not Float

Anchors do not float; but actually a better statement is this question: “Which anchor floats?”  Picture a storm, a hurricane.  The winds circle and collide.  So much noise that the storm is all that can be heard.  Now, you are in the water.  There is no boat.  There is no vision beyond your own hands, which you only know are there because they have been.  Now you are sinking.

“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.”  A floating anchor. High above the storm, THAT SHOULD NOT BE THERE.  IT SHOULD NOT BE FLOATING BEYOND THE CURTAIN.  ALL IN FRONT IS STORM.  ALL BELOW IS THE BELLOWS OF STORM.

Now hold onto the anchor.  What happens?
